A word from our CEO, Alper Deniz

The story of Truva Corp

Truva Corp was established by its CEO, Alper Deniz. Alper is a corporate finance lawyer with 20+ years experience in international and cross-border financing transactions, debt capital markets and debt restructurings. He has spent much of his career representing arrangers, issuers and trustees on debt capital market and structured finance transactions.

The idea for establishing Truva Corp came after an existing legal client, who Alper had been advising on a number of legal matters over a number of years, asked for advice on how to set up a note programme for multiple underlying sponsor borrowers. This is a complicated task, which law firms are not necessarily geared up to provide, or if they are, it comes at a high cost.

By guiding and advising this client through every step of the process, the multitude of specialist services a client needs to draw on in order to set up note programmes became apparent. Services which draw on legal expertise but do not need to be supplied through a law firm.

It became clear that there was a need for a new kind of professional services provider for the investment industry. A service provider powered by the know-how and knowledge of experienced finance lawyers, bringing together all the services needed to get everything done in a lean and agile manner, providing a streamlined service at competitive rates. And so, Truva Corp came into being.
